Pediatric Ophthalmology, Adult Strabismus Surgeon

Dr. Fournier received her MD from Université de Montréal, completed ophthalmology residency at Université de Sherbrooke, and pursued fellowships in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at Université de Montréal and the University of Iowa.

Her interests include complex pediatric strabismus surgery, amblyopia management, and surgical education.

An Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and Clinician Investigator at OHRI, Dr. Fournier is a past Head of Ophthalmology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and serves as President of the Canadian Orthoptic Council. She is active in clinical and surgical teaching, and curriculum development at the undergraduate and residency levels.
