Dr. Quinn completed his PhD in Medical Biophysics and MD at Western University, ophthalmology residency at Queen’s University, and fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at the University of Ottawa.

His research explores the role of the microbiome and systemic inflammation in age-related macular degeneration, as well as population-based approaches to understanding ocular disease.

An Assistant Program Director at the University of Ottawa and Clinician Investigator at OHRI, Dr. Quinn serves as the Department of Ophthalmology Residency Association Program Director. He contributes to translational neuro-ophthalmology research and mentors trainees in vision science.
