Dr. Chloe Gottlieb, MD, FRCSC

 Uveitis, Medical Retina & Cataract Surgery

Dr. Gottlieb completed her medical degree at McMaster University, ophthalmology residency at Dalhousie University, and a two-year fellowship in Uveitis and Medical Retina at the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Her research focuses on uveitic macular edema, pediatric ocular inflammatory diseases, with ongoing clinical studies on posterior uveitis and ocular imaging.

An Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and Clinician Investigator at OHRI, Dr. Gottlieb is Director of the Uveitis and Ocular Inflammatory Disease Fellowship, Chair of the Residency Program’s Competence Committee, and is the current President of the Canadian Uveitis Society. She participates in advocacy, policy, and operational matters as a member of the Executive Committee of the Eye Physicians
and Surgeons of Ontario.
